A truly stunning setting in Dorset for a beautiful woodland or barn wedding ceremony in relaxed, rural surroundings with far-reaching views. Situated on a family farm on the Dorset/Somerset/Wiltshire border, two miles from Gillingham, the venue offers the opportunity to create your own unique dream wedding.

This idyllic site, amidst 25-acres of centuries old organic pasture, is completely private and quiet with no visible buildings or overhead wires.

Our rustic barn with exposed beams and original brickwork is licensed for civil ceremonies. Alternatively, ceremonies can take place in our picturesque woodland under a natural canopy of leaves and bluebells in the spring, followed by a scenic marquee reception.

We only hold a maximum of six weddings each year, which means your celebrations will be totally bespoke and exclusive to you.

About Us

Our family run farm in Langham near Gillingham is situated in one of the most stunning areas of North Dorset. Mike and Annabel along with their daughters Philippa, Daisy and son Toby run the family business in addition to a menagerie of dogs, horses, cows and sheep.

When we held a 21st Birthday party for Philippa so many of our guests commented on how lucky we were to have such a lovely spot for a party, it gave us the idea to open up the site for others to hold their own celebrations.

We held our first wedding celebrations in 2016 in our own traditional canvas marquee and the whole family thoroughly enjoyed trying to turn everyone’s ideas and dreams into reality.
